Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Monday visited Leader of Opposition and BJD president Naveen Patnaik at his residence in Bhubaneswar to enquire about his health.
“He offered prayers to Lord Jagannath for Naveen Patnaik’s speedy recovery, good health, and long life,” said the official X handle of Odisha Governor. The former CM was hospitalised for three days earlier this month due to dehydration. He was discharged from the hospital on August 20 following ‘significant improvement in his health condition’.
On August 23, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had spent around 10 minutes with Naveen at his residence, Naveen Nivas, and wished him a speedy recovery and a healthy life. Majhi also informed him that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had enquired about his health following his spinal surgery in Mumbai, during their recent meeting in Delhi.
The PM and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had dialed the former CM while he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneshwar, and enquired about his health condition. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling and Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan had also visited the hospital where Naveen was undergoing treatment.
